NEW ORLEANS - Tulane's football team worked out in full pads for the first time on Friday morning in the squad's sixth practice of the spring workouts.
The Green Wave worked out for 15 periods on the Westfeldt Practice Facility.
"Very intense today," Tulane head coach Curtis Johnson said. "It was good. The first drill was a short yardage drill and the offensive line just dominated. We then had another drill when the defense line just dominated, but that is what you want. You want the domination to go back and forth."
Tulane will practice again Saturday morning that will include the first scrimmage of the spring. Practice will begin at 8 a.m. at the Westfeldt Practice Facility and is open to the public.
