SMU 26, Tulane 21
Tulane Game 12
Gerald J. Ford Stadium
Dallas, Texas

Tulane Head Coach Bob Toledo
I thought this was a good football game. I thought we played very hard and never gave or quit. They made a few more plays in the end and that's what got us. It was back-and-forth. They made some adjustments and we made some adjustments. We had some guys get hurt like Phillip Davis who was injured on the first play of the game. It was a physical game and I thought we were very physical and did some good things. At one point, we were playing four freshmen defensive backs and two freshman linebackers.

The game went fast. We only had one series in the first quarter and only had 58 snaps for the game. But we just didn't make enough plays. We made a couple of mistakes in the secondary and they made us pay for it. The scoreboard just didn't come out on the right side for us.

I very disappointed that we didn't win more football games this season and I'm disappointed that we didn't win for our seniors, but I think we made some end roads. We had 19 freshmen on this trip and most of them played and gave them game experience and hopefully that will carry over to the future.

#32 Andre Anderson, RB
We kept fighting and working hard. In the second half, we didn't do as well as had all year and it hurt us. I respect everyone in that locker room. We just said go out there, play hard and have fun and whatever happens, happens. We just didn't make the right plays at the right time.
