2002 (through regular season): Lone senior starter on offense in 2002. Started all 12 games at right guard for the Green Wave. Graded out to a 75 percent average for the season. Tied for fourth on the team with five knockdown blocks. Received a "plus" grade on 428 of 672 plays on the season. Earned the Offensive "Hard Hat" Award with a grade of 85 percent or better with no penalties or mental errors for both the UAB (10/19) and Southern Miss (11/23) games. Had a pair of key blocks that led to big plays or touchdowns. Helped Mewelde Moore to his second straight 1,000-yard rushing season.
2001: Injured his knee during the preseason, missing the season opener. Returned to play in the final 11 games, includ-ing 10 starts at left guard. A Verizon Academic All-Distict honoree. Played 754 plays, grading out at 75 percent with 23 knockdown blocks.
2000: Saw action against Navy (11/11) and Memphis (11/18).
1999: Did not see any game time.
1998: Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1998 grad-uate of Notre Dame High School in Crowley, La., where he was a three-year letterman and two-year starter. Earned all-district, all-parish and All-Acad-
iana honors playing for Coach Lewis Cook. Blocked for school's career rushing leader who had more than 4,000 yards in two years. An honor student with a
3.9 GPA. Also a member of the basketball and track teams.
PERSONAL: Seth Lucas Zaunbrecher. Born December 30, 1979 in Lafayette, La. The son of Gerard and Marsha Zaunbrecher. A double major in accounting and finance. A member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for each of the last three years as well as the Tulane 3.0 Club for the Fall of 2000 and 2001.
