TULANE: A three-year letterwinner and two-year starter who has played in 34 career games with 25 starts... career defensive numbers include 87 tackles (41 solo), 11 stops for lost yardage, four sacks, two fumble recoveries, two quarterback hurries and one pass breakup... returns as the starter at right tackle heading into fall drills.
2006: Started all 12 games and registered 31 stops (13 solo), 3.5 tackles for lost yardage and recovered two fumbles... notched six stops vs. SMU and tallied tackles, including one TFL at No. 10 LSU... produced three tackles and one stop for lost yardage at Marshall and Tulsa... came up with a fumble recovery against Mississippi State and Southern Miss.

Credited with 30 tackles, five tackles for loss and ranked second on the team with 3.5 quarterback sacks... compiled a season-high five tackles at Houston (10/30) and had at least one tackle in every game... recorded his third sack of the season in Tulane's win over UAB (10/23) when he also had three tackles... added four tackles in the Navy (11/6), Southern Miss (9/25) and Florida A&M (9/11) games, with a tackle for loss versus USM... dominated Florida A&M with two-and-a-half quarterback sacks.
HIGH SCHOOL: An all-Greater Houston selection who was also a three-time first team all-district choice... selected to play for Team USA in the Junior Global All-World game... listed as one of the Top 20 defensive linemen in the state by Texas Football Magazine... compiled 214 tackles and 35 sacks during his high school career... made 104 tackles and sacked the quarterback 19 times as a senior... added 83 stops and 12 sacks his junior year... led the nation with seven blocked punts in 2001 as a sophomore... his team won the bi-district championship all four years and went on to take the area title in 2002... also threw the discus... served as vice-president of his senior class and named Lamar High School's Best All-Around Student... a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.
