Career Notes: Two-year letterman has 18 tackles (9 solo, 9 assists) for his career...played in 18 games with a pair of starts.

2012: Did not play as a senior.

2011: Saw action in six games with one start as a junior...posted three solo tackles for the season...had a season-high two tackles in a starting assignment at Hawai'i (11/26)...posted one stop in the season opener vs Southeastern Louisiana (9/3).

2010: Played in all 12 games with one start as a sophomore...finished with 15 tackles (6 solo, 9 assists)...had a career-best four tackles on two occasions: 1 solo and 3 assists vs UCF (11/20) while tallying 2 solo and 2 assists in a start at Marshall (11/27)...posted two-tackle performances at Houston (9/25), at Tulsa (10/16) and vs SMU (10/30).

2009: Did not play as a true freshman.

High School: Three-year letterman at Brenham High where he played quarterback, wide receiver and cornerback for coach Glen West...named two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com...helped the Cubs go a combined 27-11 with three trips to the state playoffs and a pair of District 18-4A titles during his prep career...named first-team All-District 18-4A in each of his final two prep seasons...as a senior, ran for 406 yards and six touchdowns on 66 carries (6.15 avg.), caught 10 passes for 170 yards (17.0 avg.) and threw for 23 yards in limited time under center...earned all-state honors as a kick returner in 2007...also lettered four years in track and field, where he was a state qualifier as a sophomore and junior, and twice in basketball.
