Prep: The Houston Chronicle named him to its Texas Top 100 list for 2004. Two-time first team all-district selection in 2002 and 2003. An All-Greater Houston nominee. Named Offensive Player of the Year for his high school squad in each of the last two seasons. Served as a team captain his senior year. Gained 3,005 yards rushing and scored 28 touchdowns over the last two seasons while averaging 6.2 yards per carry. Carried the ball 226 times for 1,465 yards and 14 scores as a senior. Earned 1,540 yards on 257 carries (6.0 average) with 14 scores his junior year. Helped his team to the district title in 2003 and to the state playoffs in 2001 and 2003. Runs a 4.45 40. Also lettered in track where he ran the 110 high hurdles. Qualified for the A-B Honor Roll. |
