High School: Four-year letterman at Plaquemine High where he played quarterback, running back, wide receiver and defensive back for coach Blake Kling...named two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com...named first-team all-district and all-parish as an athlete in each of his final two prep season...as a senior was named first-team all-metro and first-team all-district as a quarterback after completing 36-of-65 passes for 591 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 355 yards on 60 carries on offense while posting 12 tackles and a pair of interceptions on defense...ran for 212 yards and five touchdowns while passing for 132 yards and a score against Port Allen in 2008...named second-team all-district as a quarterback as a junior after passing for 1,312 yards and nine touchdowns, running for 690 yards and 12 scores, and posting 36 tackles to go along with four interceptions...claimed first-team all-parish and second-team all-district honors as an athlete as a sophomore...also earned four letters in basketball as well as track and field.
