Career Notes: Three-year collegiate letterman - two at Memphis and one at Tulane - has 61 tackles (49 solo, 12 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, three pass break-ups, one interception and one forced fumble on defense while returning four kickoffs for 53 yards (13.2 avg) on special teams...played in 27 games with 13 starts...also a member of the Tulane track and field team in 2014, competing in the 100 meter dash and 4x100 meter relay...helped the 4x100 relay team finish eighth at the Conference USA Championship...enters fall practice atop the depth chart at one of the cornerback positions.

2012: Did not play due to NCAA transfer rules...redshirted the season.
Prior To Tulane: Played two seasons at the University of Memphis, starting 13 of the 18 games he played in for coach Larry Porter...saw action in eight games with four starts as a true freshman in 2010, finishing fourth on the in kickoff returns (4) and return yardage (53), tied for fourth in pass break-ups (2) and tied for 10th in tackles for loss (1.5) while tallying 15 tackles (9 solo, 6 assists)...posted a season-best six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists) vs UCF (11/27/10)...added four tackles (2 solo, 2 assists) and a half tackle for loss at Marshall (11/13/10)...tallied a career-best two pass break-ups to go with two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) vs Tennessee (11/6/10)...also had two stops (1 solo, 1 assist) with a tackle for loss at UTEP (9/25/10)...as a sophomore in 2011, played in 10 games with nine starts...finished tied for fourth on the squad in interceptions (1) and forced fumbles (1) while ranking tied for ninth with 33 tackles (29 solo, 4 assists) to go with 1.0 tackles flor loss...logged a career-high nine tackles (7 solo, 2 assists) at Arkansas State (9/10/11)...pulled down first career interception to go with a solo stop vs Austin Peay (9/17/11)...added six tackles (5 solo, 1 assist) at Tulane (10/22/11), five take downs (4 solo, 1 assist) vs SMU (9/24/11) and four solo stops at Middle Tennessee (10/1/11).
High School: Four-year letterman at Southern Lab High for coach Michael Roach...rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com while garnering two-star status from Scout.com and ESPN.com...received a 73 Scout Grade and listed as the No. 219 athlete in the nation by ESPN.com...listed as the No. 44 recruit in the state and the No. 107 safety nationally by Rivals.com...helped lead the Kittens to a combined 22 wins with three trips to the state playoffs, including a share of the District 6-1A title in his final prep campaign...for his career, had a pair of touchdowns via interception return and scored seven two-point conversions...as a senior, was named first-team all-state, all-metro and all-district as a defensive back while picking up District Defensive MVP honors after posting 28 tackles, three sacks, two fumble recoveries and a pair of interceptions...also claimed second-team all-state recognition on special teams after scoring nine total touchdowns via kickoff and punt return...voted team captain, was a finalist for the Wendy's High School Heisman, named Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Week seven times and was tabbed 2009 Old Spice Player of the Year...of the 23 passes attempted in his territory as a senior, only one was completed...selected to participate in the U.S. Army Red Stick All-Star Game and also played in the Max Emfinger All-American Bowl...as a junior, totalled 119 tackles and two interceptions while scoring three touchdowns...also lettered in track and field where he was ranked No. 10 nationally in the 100 meters, claimed state titles in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays, garnered a state title in the 100 meters and finished second in the 200 meters as a senior...off the field, was president of his class from his freshmen through junior years, served as president of the Student Government Association as a senior and graduated with a 4.0 grade point average.
