Career Notes: Two-year letterman has six receptions for 109 yards (18.2 avg.) and one kick return for six yards for his career...played in 15 games...expected to push for time at tight end and continue to be a force on special teams as a junior.
2011: Saw action in 12 games as a sophomore...ranked second on the team among tight ends in receptions (6) and receiving yards (109)...posted career highs with two catches for 48 yards - including a career-long 35-yarder - vs Syracuse (10/8)...had single-catch performances for 24 yards vs Southeastern Louisiana (9/3), for four yards vs Tulsa (9/10), for eight yards at UAB (9/17) and for 25 yards at Duke (9/24)...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
2010: Played in three games as a redshirt-freshman...played primarily on special teams and recorded first career touch with a six-yard return of a squib kick against Southern Miss (11/6)...also saw time at Houston (9/25) and vs Army (10/9)...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
2009: Walk-on who did not play as a true freshman...redshirted the season...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
High School: Three-year letterman at Southeast High where he was a tight end and wide receiver for coach Paul Maechtle...named captain of the PAL Bowl All-Star Team as a senior...also lettered in basketball and was a four-year letterman in baseball where he earned All-Area Honorable Mention as a junior centerfielder...off the field, was a Gold Feather Award winner and Sunshine State Scholar, AP Scholar and member of the National Honor Society.
