The Green Wave dropped their Conference USA contest against UTEP, 44-7, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Oct. 15, 2011.

Career Note: Two-year letterman has 18 tackles (7 solo, 11 assist), 2.0 tackles for loss, one sack and a pass break-up for his career...played in 21 games with one start...opens fall camp as the top backup at right defensive end.

2010: Played in 11 games with one start as a junior...finished tied for fourth on the team in fumble recoveries (1), tied for sixth in sacks (1.0), tied for eighth in pass break-ups (1) and tied for ninth in tackles for loss (2.0) while posting 15 tackles (5 solo, 10 assists)...tallied a career-high four assisted tackles and a fumble recovery at Houston (9/25)...earned first career start vs Southern Miss (11/6), responding with a pair of tackles (1 solo, 1 assist)...had a sack at Rutgers (10/2) and a tackle for loss vs Rice (11/13).
