2001: A spring hamstring injury held him to limited action in eight games. Recorded 10 tackles (seven solo). Notched a career-best four tackles against TCU (10/13).
2000: Saw action in 10 games as a reserve linebacker and on many Tulane special teams.
1999: Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 graduate of North Shore High School in Houston, Texas, where he was coached by David Aymond. Led NSHS to a 7-4 record as an all-district senior by collecting 85 total tackles. Credited with 49 solo stops, 36 assists, seven quarterback sacks and one caused fumble. Named among the top 100 players in Texas by Alliance Sports. Two-time unanimous all-district selection. Also lettered in track as a discus thrower.
