1999: Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 graduate of Archbishop Rummel, where he played football for Jay Roth. Recorded 38 tackles and two sacks for the second-ranked defense in the state as a senior. Helped the Raiders to three-straight playoff appearances. Earned all-state academic team honors, as well as Times-Picayune academic all-district recognition.
PERSONAL: Stephen Matthew Segari. Born January 5, 1981 in New Orleans. The son of Robert and Corliss Segari. Majoring in computer science. Earned a slot on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for his academic efforts in 1999-2000.
