TULANE: A three-year letterwinner and returning two-year starter, who has played in 32 career games with 21 starts... career numbers include 58 tackles (46 solo), 16.5 stops for lost yardage, seven sacks and three forced fumbles and one recovery...granted a sixth year of eligibility due to medical hardship season in 2006... enters fall camp as a starter at defensive tackle and will also see action at defensive end this season.

2008 (SENIOR): Named Conference USA Honorable Mention after starting all 11 games he played... registered 28 tackles (25 solo), 6.5 tackles for lost yardage, two sacks for a combined loss of 17 yards, three hurries, one pass breakup and one interception... recorded first career interception and finished with six stops and a sack vs. #14 East Carolina... notched three stops, including a sack, and a PBU vs. SMU... finished with a season-high six stops (five unassisted) at Tulsa...

2007 (JUNIOR): An honorable mention All-Conference USA performer... started all 12 games at left defensive end and accounted for 27 tackles (18 solo), including nine stops for lost yardage and four sacks and also forced three fumbles and was responsible for two PBUs... produced four tackles, including two for loss, at Army and East Carolina... tallied three tackles, including a sack and a forced fumble at SMU... also posted sacks against Mississippi State, Houston and No. 2 LSU... forced fumbles vs. LSU, SMU and Tulsa... broke up one pass each vs. Tulsa and UTEP...

2006 (SOPHOMORE): Came off the bench at No. 10 LSU and recorded one tackle... missed the remainder of the season with an injury, leading to a medical hardship season...

2005 (FRESHMAN RS): Played in seven games, primarily on special teams... recorded his only two tackles of the year, including his first career sack (for a loss of 14 yards) against Houston (10/8)... also recovered a fumble against Southeastern Louisiana (10/1) on special teams...

2004 (FRESHMAN): Suffered an injury in the opener against Mississippi State (9/4) and had two quarterback pressures in the contest... received a red-shirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time all-conference performer... nominated for Defensive Player of the Year by the Charlotte Touchdown Club... played in the North Carolina North-South All-Star game... credited with 60 tackles, 50 solo, as a senior... compiled 14 sacks and had 19 tackles for loss and a pair of fumbles forced... missed three games due to injury... as a junior, made 40 stops, 29 solo, with 13 sacks and 20 tackles for loss... recovered a pair of fumbles and caused two... helped lead his prep team to the playoffs each of the last two seasons... was an all-conference performer in track and also lettered in basketball.

PERSONAL: Majoring in exercise science... born Reginald Sylvester Scott Jr., on October 28, 1985, in Charlotte, N.C.... the son of Reginald and Deborah Scott... cousin, Eric "Sleepy" Floyd, played basketball at Georgetown and in the NBA... a student of tae kwon do, who was the runner-up in the competition at the AAU Nationals and owns a black belt in the sport.
