Career Notes: Three-year letterman has caught nine passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns for his career...played in 34 games with seven starts...looking to make the transition from tight end to defensive end in 2011...likely to miss the upcoming season after suffering a knee injury during spring practice.

2010: Saw action in 11 games as a sophomore...finished with two receptions for the season: one for a career-long, 31-yard gain at Rutgers (10/2) and one for 11 yards at Tulsa (10/16)...a bruising blocker at tight end, also a key member of Tulane's special teams...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
2009: Played in all 12 games at tight end as a true freshman...finished tied for third on the team in touchdown catches (1) while ranking 11th in receiving yards (41) and tied for 11th in catches (11)...posted career highs with two catches for 34 yards - including a 29-yard grab - in the season finale at SMU (11/28)...first career catch went for a three-yard touchdown vs UTEP (11/7)...also had a four-yard catch at Rice (11/14)...key member of Tulane's special teams...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
High School: Three-year letterman at Northview High where he played both tight end, fullback, offensive tackle and defensive end for coach James Showfety...named three-star recruit, the No. 34 tight end in the country and No. 61 prospect in the state of Georgia by Rivals.com...tabbed three-star recruit and the No. 53 tight end in the nation by Scout.com...recognized by ESPN.com as the No. 10 tight end in the country...selected to participate in the U.S. Army 2007 Combine and the Scout.com combine in Atlanta...used primarily as a blocker in NHS's triple-option offense and had one catch for a 20-yard touchdown as a senior...in addition, posted 35 tackles, eight tackles for loss and three sacks despite missing half the season with an injury...named team's Defensive Player of the Year and was used almost exclusively as a tackle on offense as a junior...was the team's leading receiver as a freshman when he claimed the Hands Award...off the field, was a member of the Honor Roll, Super Honor Roll, Principal's List and Future Business Leaders of America...named Legion of Honor Scholar and was nominated for Boys State 2008.
