2011: Did not play as a true freshman...redshirted the season.

High School: Three-year letterman at Creekside High for coach Johnny White...rated a two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com and was tabbed the No. 144 defensive tackle in the nation by Scout.com...helped lead the Seminoles to a combined 21-12 record with two trips to the state playoffs...set school record with 27 career sacks...named all-state, all-area and all-region after posting 84 tackles, 14 sacks, 11 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles as a senior...selected to play in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association North-South All-Star Game and voted CHS's Defensive MVP...as a junior, tallied 86 stops, 14 tackles for loss and seven sacks en route to earning honorable-mention all-region recognition...off the field, was a member of the Honor Roll.
