2009: Played in five games as a junior, including starts at defensive tackle at Army (10/3), vs Marshall (10/10) and against Houston (10/17)...posted 16 tackles (9 solo, 7 assists) for the year, including a tackle for loss and half a sack...tallied a career-best seven tackles (5 solo, 2 assists) at Army...had three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) vs Marshall and two each against McNeese State (9/26) and Houston...suffered a knee injury vs Houston and did not return to the lineup until the final game of the year at SMU (10/28) when he posted two assisted tackles, half a sack and a pass break-up.
2008: Saw action in 10 games as a redshirt-sophomore, including a start at defensive tackle in the season opener at Alabama (9/6)...tallied a season-best three tackles at Tulsa (11/22) and at Memphis (11/29)...also had two-tackle outings at Alabama, vs East Carolina (9/12), at Houston (11/8) and vs UAB (11/15).
2007: Did not play as a sophomore...redshirted the season...shifted from defensive line to offensive guard where he worked with the scout team.
2006: Played in 10 games on the defensive line as a true freshman...posted single-tackle contests at LSU (9/23), vs Rice (10/7) and at UTEP (10/14)...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
High School: Four-year letterman at John Curtis Christian High for coach J.T. Curtis...helped the Patriots win back-to-back state championships his final two prep seasons...a three-time all-district honoree, who also claimed all-state and all-metro honors as a senior...posted 249 tackles, 23 sacks and seven forced fumbles during his career...as a senior, had 96 tackles, 12 sacks and three forced fumbles...made 60 tackles with five sacks as a junior, 63 tackles, three sacks and four forced fumbles as a sophomore, and 30 tackles and three sacks as a freshman... off the field, earned the Bishop Brown Scholarship and Hispanic Heritage Foundation Scholarship, and was a member of the A/B Honor Roll.
