TULANE: A three-year letterwinner and returning starter who has played in 34 games with 12 starts and has career defensive statistics of 80 tackles (45 solo), 14 takedowns for lost yardage, four sacks, two quarterback hurries and four passes defensed... the starter at left defensive tackle heading into fall camp.
2006: Started 11 of 12 games and logged 30 tackles (19 solo), including a team-best 8.5 stops for 39 yards of lost yardage, four sacks and two pass breakups... produced the best game of the season against Southern Miss when he registered eight tackles (six solo), 2.5 stops for lost yardage and two sacks... made five stops at UTEP and came up with four tackles at No. 8 Auburn... notched three tackles in the season opener at Houston... earned honorable mention all-C-USA honors.
2005: Saw significant action in all 11 games, including a start at defensive tackle against Rice (11/12)... ranked second among defensive lineman in tackles with 31 (17 solo)... also had five tackles for loss... was credited for more than half of his tackles (16) in the last four games of the year... matched his career-high with five tackles against both Navy (11/5) and Tulsa (11/19)... also posted four-tackle efforts against UTEP (10/14) and Southern Miss (11/26)... recorded a pass break-up and a blocked kick (extra point) against Southeastern Louisiana (10/1).
2004: Played in all 11 games as a true freshman reserve on the defensive line... recorded 19 tackles, including nine solo stops... tallied a career-high five tackles (one solo) against Memphis (10/16), while adding four tackles against both Navy (11/6) and TCU (11/27).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state honors in 2003... an all-DeKalb County selection on the defensive line as a senior... listed as one of the DeKalb County's Super 11 and selected to play for the North team in the Georgia All-Star Game...
