2005: Leads all returning Green Wave players in tackles for loss with 9.5 last season while playing in all 11 games with two starts at defensive end. Finished the year with 20 tackles (17 solo) and a pair of sacks. Top career game came against SMU (9/24) when he piled up five tackles for losses of 10 yards, including one sack. Also registered three tackles, including two for loss and a sack, against UTEP (10/14).
2004: Played in all 11 games with six starts at defensive end. Registered 19 tackles (11 solo), including a career-best five against Navy (11/6). Also tallied 4.5 tackles for loss with two of those coming against East Carolina (10/9). His lone sack of the year came in the Army game (11/13). Knocked down three passes.
2003: Saw action in all 12 games on the defensive line and special teams as a true freshman. Tallied 12 tackles, including seven solo. Recorded two tackles (one solo) in five games. Had two stops and a tackle for loss against Memphis (10/25). Credited with a tackle, a forced fumble and a pass break-up against Mississippi State (9/13).
HIGH SCHOOL: Second team all-state selection and an all-metro honoree after recording 15 sacks and 53 tackles in 2002. Named Defensive MVP of District 7-5A and was an all-district choice his senior season. Forced three fumbles and returned one for a touchdown. Earned all-district recognition as a junior after collecting 62 tackles with 10 sacks, six tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries. Three-year letterwinner in football and lettered one season in track. Helped team to a pair of playoff appearances, including a 10-2 season his junior year. Also played middle linebacker and defensive end as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born June 29, 1984, in New Orleans. The son of Rose and Joseph Morris. Majoring in the organizational information technology at Tulane.
