Ranked among the Top 30 linebackers in Texas by Rivals.com and in the Top 20 by Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine. A two-time All-Tarrant County honoree, tallied 304 tackles, including 26 for loss, four sacks, six forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries and a touchdown during his career. As a senior, named first-team All-District 5-5A and academic all-state after posting 126 tackles, including a school-record 12 for loss, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and four sacks. Named second team all-district as a junior when he had 131 tackles, including 11 for loss, five sacks, three forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. As a sophomore, had 54 tackles, three for loss, a sack and a 57-yard fumble return for a score. Helped Keller advance to the second round of the playoffs twice. Also lettered four years in track and field where he was a regional qualifier in the shot put last season, and helped Keller win the District 5-5A championship twice. Qualified for the "A" Honor Roll the last two years of high school. |
