2011: Played in all 13 games with eight starts as a redshirt-freshman...finished tied for third on the team in touchdown grabs (1), eighth in receiving yards (131) and tied for eighth in catches (13)...had a career-high three catches twice: for 37 yards and a touchdown at UAB (9/17) and for 17 yards vs UTEP (10/15)...had two-catch performances vs Syracuse (10/8) and vs Houston (2/9)...had a career-long 40-yard grab to account for his season-high total vs Tulsa (9/10)...made first career catch in collegiate debut in starting role vs Southeastern Louisiana (9/3).
2010: Did not play as a true freshman...redshirted the season.
High School: Three-year letterman at Tomball High where he saw time at tight end and deep snapper for head coach Tommy Kaiser...named a two-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com...claimed a spot on the 2010 Texas Top 100 Senior Recruits by Rivals.com and VYPE Magazine...named honorable-mention All-District 13-5A in each of his final two prep seasons...as a senior, caught 12 passes for 155 yards, one touchdown and a two-point conversion...caught five passes for 65 yards as a junior and four passes for 51 yards as a sophomore...was a state qualifier in the Texas 7-on-7 Tournament in 2008 and 2009...off the field, was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
