2013: Walk-on played in all 13 games as a true freshman...key member of the special teams units where he returned one kickoff and posted a pair of solo tackles...had single-tackle performances vs Jackson State (8/29) and at Syracuse (9/21)...lone kickoff return came at Syracuse...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club while claiming C-USA Academic Medal honors for posting a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
High School: Four-year letterman at Northshore High where he played running back and linebacker for coach Michael Bourg...voted team captain and MVP in each of his final two prep seasons, claiming first-team all-district honors after surpassing 1,800 and 1,500 all-purpose yards in 2011 and 2012, respectively...named MVP of the National Underclassman Football Combined following his sophomore campaign...also lettered four years in baseball where he helped the Panthers to three playoff appearances and claimed all-district honors as a senior after hitting .357...one of 34 players in the Greater New Orleans Area to receive a $10,000 scholarship from the Allstate Sugar Bowl Chapter of the National Football Foundation/College Football Hall of Fame in 2013 for their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom...off the field, was a member of the Student Council, Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Ambassordor Program...graduated valedictorian, won the Panther Gridiron Academic Scholarship and VFW's Sportsmanship Award, was voted to the Homecoming Court and Mr. Nortshore High, and was a four-year member of the All-A Honor Roll.
