The Green Wave lost 33-17 to the Memphis Tigers on October 22nd, 2011 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Career Notes: Three-year letterman has 25 catches for 204 yards (8.2 avg.) and a touchdown on offensive while handling deep snapping duties for 44 punts to go with three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) during his career...played in 37 games with 25 starts...enters fall practice atop the depth chart at tight end and No. 2 at deep snapper.
2013: Played in 12 games with nine starts at tight end as a junior...hauled in four passes for 53 yards...had single-catch performances on four occasions: for 18 yards vs South Alabama (9/7), for 12 yards at Louisiana Tech (9/12), for 13 yards vs East Carolina (10/12) and for 10 yards vs Louisiana-Lafayette in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl (12/21)...on special teams, handled deep snapping duties on 44 punts and tallied a pair of tackles (1 solo, 1 assist)...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
2012: Saw action in all 12 games with eight starts as a sophomore...led Green Wave tight ends in receptions (8) while finishing tied for second at the position in receiving yards (20)...had a season-best two catches vs Rutgers (9/1) and vs Ole Miss (9/22)...added single-reception ballgames vs ULM (9/29), at Louisiana-Lafayette (10/6), vs SMU (10/13) and vs UAB (10/27).
2011: Played in all 13 games with eight starts as a redshirt-freshman...finished tied for third on the team in touchdown grabs (1), eighth in receiving yards (131) and tied for eighth in catches (13)...had a career-high three catches twice: for 37 yards and a touchdown at UAB (9/17) and for 17 yards vs UTEP (10/15)...had two-catch performances vs Syracuse (10/8) and vs Houston (2/9)...had a career-long 40-yard grab to account for his season-high total vs Tulsa (9/10)...made first career catch in collegiate debut in starting role vs Southeastern Louisiana (9/3).
2010: Did not play as a true freshman...redshirted the season.
High School: Three-year letterman at Tomball High where he saw time at tight end and deep snapper for head coach Tommy Kaiser...named a two-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com...claimed a spot on the 2010 Texas Top 100 Senior Recruits by Rivals.com and VYPE Magazine...named honorable-mention All-District 13-5A in each of his final two prep seasons...as a senior, caught 12 passes for 155 yards, one touchdown and a two-point conversion...caught five passes for 65 yards as a junior and four passes for 51 yards as a sophomore...was a state qualifier in the Texas 7-on-7 Tournament in 2008 and 2009...off the field, was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
