High School: Two-year letterman at St. Augustine High as a tight end and wide receiver for coach David Johnson...helped lead the Purple Knights to a combined 17-7 record and a pair of trips to the state playoffs...as a senior, had 30 receptions for 195 yards anda touchdown en route to earning first-team All-District 10-4A honors...added 22 catches as a junior...also lettered twice in basketball where he helped lead St. Aug to a pair of district and state titles and claimed second-team all-state and first-team all-district recognition as a senior.
