Notes Following Football's 44-7 Conference USA Loss To UTEP

Career Note: Two-year letterman has 42 tackles (27 solo, 15 assists), one tackle for loss and six pass break-ups for his career...played in 22 games with three starts...is expected to once again provide depth in the Green Wave defensive backfield.

2010: Saw action in eight games with three starts as a sophomore...finished tied for second on the team in pass break-ups (5), while sitting 13th with 19 tackles (13 solo, 6 assists) and in tackles for loss (1.0)...tied a career-high with five tackles (4 solo, 1 assist) at Tulsa (10/16)...broke up a career-best two passes to go with three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist) at Houston (9/25)...added four stops and a pass break-up at Rutgers (10/2) and had three-tackle performances at UTEP (10/23) and vs Southern Miss (11/6)...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.

2009: Played in all 12 games as a redshirt-freshman...tied for sixth on the team in pass break-ups (1) while ranking 15th in tackles with 23 (14 solo, 9 assists)...posted a career-best five tackles twice: vs BYU (9/12) and at SMU (11/28)...also tallied three-tackle outings vs McNeese State (9/26) and at UCF (11/21)...broke up first career pass vs BYU...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.

2008: Saw action in two games as a true freshman...made collegiate debut at Alabama (9/6) before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury against East Carolina (9/12)...received a medical redshirt...off the field, was a member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.

High School: Four-year letterman at John Curtis Christian for coach J.T. Curtis...helped lead the Patriots to a combined 60-3 record, including three 2A State Championships...as a senior, led the Patriots with five interceptions - including one returned 47 yards for a touchdown in the state championship game - and added 43 tackles...as a junior, logged 19 tackles, two interceptions and a sack...was named Defensive MVP of the Stanford Camp in June...also lettered in baseball and track and field...off the field, is a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and was voted class treasurer.
