Texas Football Magazine placed him on its "SuperTeam" third squad... nominated for the Houston Touchdown Club Offensive Lineman of the Year for 2004... credited with 48 "Rhino" (pancake) blocks his senior year and won the "Big Block" award in four games... tapped for second team all-district honors in 2003 when he collected 35 Rhinos and won the Big Block award three times... led his team to the district title his senior year and went on to claim the regional championship... also lettered in track and field where he was named Most Improved in 2003... member of Cypress Falls' Honor Roll.
