2005: Played in eight games on the offensive line, including two starts at right tackle. Did not play in the final three games of the year. Logged 304 plays as the "sixth man" on the offensive line and graded out to 70 percent on the year. Top performances came versus SMU, Southeastern Louisiana and Houston.
2004: Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named to WWL's all-district team as a senior. Selected to the Clarion-Herald Elite Catholic Schools football squad. Two-year starter at left tackle for the Raiders. Helped his prep team to the 2003 district championship and a berth in the state quarterfinals as a senior. In 2002, Rummel advanced to the state semifinals after taking the district crown. Also won the district title in 2001. A state finalist in the shot put his junior year after winning the district title and finishing second in the regionals. Listed in "Who's Who Among American High School Students" for 2002-03. Member of the 2003 All-State Academic squad. Earned Beta Honor Roll recognition following his sophomore and junior years.
