Notes Following Football's 28-23 C-USA Loss To East Carolina

Career Notes: Two-year collegiate letterman and one-year letterman at Tulane...handled snapping duties for 72 punts, 28 PATs and 21 field goals during his career...played in 13 games: one at Georgia in 2011 and 12 at Tulane in 2012.

2012: Played in all 12 games as a senior...named first-team All-Conference USA and honorable-mention All-Louisiana after handling deep snapper duties for all 71 punts, 27 PATs and 21 field goals...also posted a solo special teams tackle vs ULM (9/29)...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club, and claimed C-USA Academic Medal honors for posting a GPA of 3.75 or higher.

Prior To Tulane: One-year letterman and two-year squadman at the University of Georgia for coach Mark Richt...on the roster of four Bulldog teams that advanced to bowl games, including the SEC East Division Championship and a spot in the Outback Bowl in 2011...redshirted as a true freshman in 2008 and was a member of the scout team in 2009 and 2010...played in one-game as a redshirt-junior, snapping once for a punt and once on a PAT vs New Mexico State (11-5-11)...named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll in 2008 and a 2009.

High School: Four-year letterman at Buford High for coach Jess Simpson...helped lead the Wolves to a combined 52-4 overall record, four consecutive undefeated District 6-AA titles, and a state championship as a senior in 2007...also lettered twice in baseball.

Personal: Born William Floyd Johnson on May 11, 1990, in Fayetteville, Ark...son of Bill and Dawn Johnson...father, Bill, played football at Northwestern State and is currently the defensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints...has one sister, Abby, who is a member of the University of Georgia's golf team...received his bachelor's degree in sports management from Georgia in May 2012 and is pursuing his master's in homeland security.
