2005: Started all 11 games at defensive tackle and recorded 15 tackles (10 solo). Had 5.5 tackles for loss, including three sacks to lead the team. Recorded three tackles for a loss of 16 yards, including a pair of sacks, to go with a pass break-up in the victory over SMU (9/24). Had a season-best four tackles against UTEP (10/14). Added a sack for a loss of 12 yards against Houston (10/8).

2003: Saw significant action on the defensive line as a true freshman, playing in all 12 games and starting two games at tackle. Registered 39 tackles, including 29 solo stops. Ranked second on the team in pass break-ups with six and third in quarterback hurries with eight. In his first game with extended playing time against Houston (10/11), recorded a career-high eight tackles (six solo) with two quarterback hurries and a pass break-up. Also had eight tackles against UAB (11/8), including a career-best seven solo to go with his first career sack. Tallied six tackles against East Carolina (11/22), including two and a half tackles for loss, three quarterback pressures and three pass deflections.
HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the Times-Picayune Top 25 Blue Chip list. Also named all-state, all-district and All-West Bank in 2002. Recorded 62 tackles, 21 for losses, with 34 solo stops. Scored three safeties and totaled seven sacks during his senior season. Selected to the New Orleans All-Metro team in 2002. During his junior season, made 49 tackles. Credited with 14 tackles for loss and five sacks. Named to the all-district and All-West Bank teams. Also played basketball for West Jeff.
