The Green Wave lost 33-17 to the Memphis Tigers on October 22nd, 2011 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.


Football vs. UTEP (10/15/2011)

The Green Wave dropped their Conference USA contest against UTEP, 44-7, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Oct. 15, 2011.

Career Notes: Four-year letterman had 161 tackles (88 solo, 73 assists), 25.0 tackles for loss, 12.0 sacks, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries, including one returned for a touchdown, during his career...played in 47 games with 38 starts...in Tulane career history, ranks tied for 10th in sacks (12.0).

2012: Started all 12 games at defensive end as a senior...named second-team All-Louisiana and honorable-mention All-Conference USA after leading the team in tackles for loss (10.0) and sacks (5.0) while ranking finishing sixth with 45 tackles (22 solo, 23 assists)...ranked tied for 15th in C-USA in tackles for loss per game (0.83) and tied for 17th in sacks per game (0.42)...posted a season-high eight tackles twice: 3 solo, 5 assists with a sack vs Rice (11/3) and 2 solo, 6 assists with a half sack among 1.5 tackles for loss at Houston (11/24)...registered six tackles (3 solo, 3 assists and a career-high 2.0 sacks vs SMU (10/13)...tallied 2.0 tackles for loss at Tulsa (9/8), 1.0 tackle for loss vs Ole Miss (9/22) and ULM (9/29), and 1.5 sacks at Louisiana-Lafayette (10/6).

2010: Started all 12 games at defensive end as a sophomore...led all defensive linemen and ranked fifth on the team with 59 tackles (31 solo, 28 assists)...also finished tied for the team lead in fumble recoveries (2), fourth in forced fumbles (2), and fifth in both tackles for loss (6.0) and sacks (1.5)...finished tied for seventh in Conference USA in fumble recoveries per game (0.17)...had a career-high 11 tackles (7 solo, 4 assists), including a tackle for a loss, vs Southern Miss (11/6)...added nine tackles (8 solo, 1 assist) and a career-best two fumble recoveries - including one returned 23 yards for a touchdown - to go with a forced fumble and a half sack vs SMU (10/30)...posted eight stops (2 solo, 6 assists) at Houston (9/25)...matched a career best with 2.0 tackles for loss among six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists) vs Army (10/9).

2009: Played in 10 games at linebacker as a true freshman, including a start at Army (10/3)...finished third on the team in sacks (2) and tackles for loss (3.5) while ranking 14th in tackles with 25 (11 solo, 14 assists)...tallied a career-best eight tackles (6 solo, 2 assists) at UCF (11/21)...made collegiate debut vs McNeese State (9/26), posting six tackles (3 solo, 3 assists) and a sack...added a four-tackle day at Army and had two tackles at Southern Miss (10/24), at LSU (10/31) and vs UTEP (11/7)...added a sack against UTEP, had a tackle for loss at UCF and posted a half tackle for loss at LSU.

High School: Three-year letterman at Winter Park High where he saw time at defensive end, tight end and punter for coach Tim Shifflet...named two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com, while claiming the No. 93 and No. 161 defensive end in the country rating by ESPN.com and Scout.com, respectively...named first-team All-Central Florida as defensive end as a senior after posting 82 tackles and 11 sacks...selected to play in the Florida State North/South Game and was also named Orlando Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week in Week 8 of the 2008 season after tallying nine tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and a blocked punt in a 28-6 win over University High...named second-team All-Orange County as a junior after tallying 10 sacks and 12 tackles for loss...also lettered twice in basketball...off the field, served as vice president of the Ceramics Club.
