HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 and 2003 Class 2A All-State selection. Also earned second team all-state honors from the Louisiana Football Coaches' Association. Named to the All-Metro and all-district squads as a junior and senior. A "Great 8" All-Star. Allowed one sack all season and recorded 62 pancake blocks. Team won the 7-2A District Championship in 2001 and 2002. Member of the school Honor Roll all four years and won the Outstanding Student Award for Science.
