Earned first team All-Dekalb County honors at quarterback in 2005. His team's Offensive Player of the Year after completing 88-of-155 passes (57 percent) for 1,468 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions. Carried the ball 90 times for 688 yards and four scores. Led Cedar Grove in passing and rushing as a senior and was the county's top passer. In limited action as a junior, completed 11-of-19 passes for 253 yards and one score while carrying the ball 30 times for 157 yards and eight TDs. Also caught nine passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. Also an All-Dekalb County performer in track. Ran on the 4 x 400 meter relay team that placed third at the county meet. Member of the National Honor Society who qualified for his school's honor roll. |
