2005: Played in seven games, missing four due to injury, and recorded 11 tackles with five solo stops. Did not play in the final three games of the season. Registered a season-best six tackles (three solo) with 2.5 sacks against Southeastern Louisiana (10/1). Also had two tackles against UCF (10/21).

2004: Played in all 11 games with five starts at defensive end. Recorded 16 tackles, including eight solo stops. Posted season-highs of two tackles in six games. In addition to two stops against TCU (11/27), recovered a key fumble.

2003: Selected to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team. Led all Tulane defensive linemen and all Conference USA freshmen in tackles with 65, 40 solo. Tulane's most productive defensive lineman, leading the Wave in tackles for loss with 7.5. Tied for the team lead in sacks with three, and his 11 quarterback pressures led the team. Ranked among the Top 10 freshmen in the nation in tackles for loss. Started the last seven games of the year and made 52 tackles in those games. Made a big play early versus UAB (11/8), batting a ball at the line and coming down with the interception off the tip, setting up a Green Wave touchdown. Registered a season-high 10 tackles, along with a sack and a tackle for loss versus Houston (10/11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Named first team All-Northwest Florida and second team all-state as a junior and a senior. Listed among the Top 50 players in Florida in 2002. Recorded 155 tackles and seven sacks as a senior. Also played tight end for the 2002 district champs, who finished 9-2. In his junior year, made 85 tackles to go with eight sacks. In his career, recorded 310 tackles and 22 sacks as a four-year letterman and three-year starter. Won Challenger Award for Good Works in Northwest Florida at 2002 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Banquet. Recorded 70 tackles and seven sacks as a sophomore. Also played basketball and ran track.
