2003: Redshirted the season. 2002: Saw action in five games as a true freshman, playing a total of 40 plays, grading out at 55 percent. HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the Texas Top 112 on SuperPrep's All-Southwest team. Played tight end and defensive end in high school. Honorable mention all-district choice in 2001. Caught 11 passes for 195 yards from his tight end spot as a senior. A preseason choice to the All-Greater Houston team in 2001. MVP of Klein Oak's receiving (receivers + tight ends) corps in 2001.
