The Green Wave dropped their Conference USA contest against UTEP, 44-7, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Oct. 15, 2011.

Career Notes: Two-year letterman enters his third season as the starting quarterback...has played in 20 games with 17 starts for his career, completing 364-of-594 passes (.613) passes for 3,753 yards, 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions while also catching one pass for 15 yards and scoring one touchdown on the ground...currently ranks atop the Tulane career record books in completion percentage (.613) while ranking second in Tulane history in completions per game (18.2), fourth in in passing attempts per game (29.7) and passing yards per game (187.6), sixth in touchdown passes per game (1.15) and passing efficiency (122.4), seventh in 300-yard passing games (3), eighth in career passing yards, passing attempts, completions, and ninth in touchdown passes.

2010: Started all 11 games he played in as a sophomore...paced the team in total offense (2225), passing attempts (372), completions (223), passing yards (2371), touchdown passes (14) and passing efficiency (121.60)...ranks sixth in Green Wave single-season history in completions per game (20.72), seventh in attempts and pass attempts per game (33.18), and tied for eighth in completions and completion percentage (.599)...ranked sixth in Conference USA in passing yards per game, eighth in total offensive yards per game (202.3) and 10th in passing efficiency...finished 64th nationally in total offense yards per game (202.27) and 79th in passing efficiency...surpassed the 300-yard passing barrier three times, including a career-best 412 yards after completing 36-of-53 passes with a pair of touchdowns at Tulsa (10/16)...in the game against the Golden Hurricane tied for second in school single-game history in completions, fourth in passing yardage and tied for sixth in passing attempts...added a 370-yard passing effort at Marshall (11/27) and had 314 vs Rice (11/13)...toss three touchdowns against the Owls and again against Army (10/9)...caught first career pass with a 15-yard reception against Ole Miss (9/11)...off the field, was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.

2009: Played in nine games as a redshirt-freshman, starting under center in each of the final six games of the year...led the team in total offense (1323), passing attempts (222), completions (141), passing yards (1382) and touchdown passes (9) while finishing second in completion percentage (.635) and passing efficiency (123.78)...all of his offensive numbers stand as Tulane records for a freshman quarterback...as a starter, completed 118-of-185 passes (.638) for 1,143 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions...posted a pair of three-touchdown passing games: vs UTEP (11/7) and at Rice (11/14)...surpassed the 200-passing-yard mark three times, including a career-best 278 on 24-of-36 passing in a 45-38 overtime win over UTEP...accounted for four scores in that game, adding a rushing touchdown to his aerial performance...tallied 126 yards on 12-of-18 passing, including first career touchdown toss against Houston (10/17)...threw for 158 yards (21-of-33) in first career start at Southern Miss (10/24)...off the field, was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.

2008: Did not play as a true freshman...redshirted the season.

High School: Two-year letterman at Chaminade College Prep for coaches Ben McEnroe and Anthony Harris...rated No. 21 prep quarterback by ESPN.com and No. 67 by Scout.com...member of Rivals.com's California Top 100 Team, landing as the Golden State's No. 97 prospect at any position...named All-Far West Area by Superprep Magazine...helped lead prep squad to a combined 15-8 record, including a trip to the state semifinals as a junior and claimed both Mission League Offensive MVP and first-team all-league honors both years...as a senior, threw for 2,137 yards, 21 touchdowns and five interceptions while adding four rushing scores...as a junior, named all-area and second-team All-CIF after completing 225-of-380 passes (.592) for 3,358 yards, 32 touchdowns and eight picks...also lettered in basketball and volleyball...off the field, was a member of the National Honor Society.
