HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-year letterman for coach Chuck Spagnoli... led the Scouts to an 11-9 overall record and two state playoff appearances... was a two-time all-conference performer and was also a member of the all-academic team... rushed for a career-best 235 yards on 23 carries and scored two touchdowns in a 2007 game against Antioch... was named the Chicago Sun Times Player of the Week for his performance... also earned a letter in lacrosse and helped the team to a 13-7 record and to a playoff appearance... was a member of the National Honor Society and served as a juror on teen court and as a peer counselor.

PERSONAL: Undecided on a major... born Gregory Paul Friedman on August 14, 1989... one of three children of Ross and Nancy Friedman... named to both the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and to the Tulane 3.0 Club as a freshman.
