TULANE: A three-year letterwinner who has played in 19 career games with six starts... career numbers include 103 completions on 210 (.490) attempts for 1,154 yards and six touchdowns.

2007 (JUNIOR): Started first three games and came off the bench in three of the final four games... in his first three games as a starter, he completed 33-of-73 passes for 396 yards and two touchdowns... produced a season-high 197 yards passing in season opener vs. Mississippi State, completing 15-of-26 passes with one touchdown... hooked up with Jeremy Williams for a season-best 67-yard strike... also had a 42-yard completion to Brian King in that game... concluded the season 42-of-88 for 507 yard and two touchdowns.

2006 (SOPHOMORE): Played in six games, including Houston, Mississippi State, LSU, UTEP, Army and Southern Miss... completed 13 of 43 attempts for 132 yards... connected with Brian King against LSU for a season-long 20-yard completion... turned in a season-high 48 yards passing at No. 10 LSU.

2005 (FRESHMAN RS): Played in seven games including starts in the final three games of the year (Rice, Tulsa, Southern Miss)... completed 48-of-92 passes (52.2 percent) for 515 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions... saw his first significant action against Navy, completing 13-of-26 passes for 109 yards, including his first career TD strike (a 14-yarder to Jovon Jackson)... in his first career start against Rice, threw for a season-high 298 yards and a trio of scores as he completed 22-of-37 attempts for his best performance of the year... one of his TDs against Rice was a career-long 68-yard hook-up with Preston Brown... the other Rice scores came on a 15-yard pass to tight end Bobby Hoover and an 18-yard connection to running back Matt Forte... his first career completion was a three-yarder against Houston.

2004 (FRESHMAN): Received a red-shirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named to the state Top 100 lists by the Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle and Fort Worth Star-Telegram... a three-time all-state performer... named the district MVP as a senior... selected as the area offensive player of the year... as a junior, earned county player of the year recognition... set the all-time passing and touchdown records for Bay City High... career passing stats included 6,289 yards on 403-of-783 passing (51.4%) with 55 touchdowns... threw for a career-best 2,364 yards with 24 TDs as a senior on 157-of-296 passing... totaled 2,050 yards in 11 games in 2002 with 17 touchdown tosses... led his team to the 4A state championship game in 2001 and 2003 while winning district titles all three years... also lettered in baseball.
