2000: Played in all 11 games at strong-side linebacker, including starts against Ole Miss and East Carolina. Recorded a career-best 36 tackles (23 solo), including four for loss. Had his lone sack against Louisville (10/28), downing Cards signal caller Dave Ragone in the end zone for a safety. Collected a season-high seven tackles against SMU (9/23) and posted five-tackle days at Ole Miss (9/2) and at Army (10/21).
1999: Participated in 10 games for the Wave. Tallied 22 total tackles, including 14 solo stops. Posted a season-high five tackles against Army (9/18). Had half sacks against Ole Miss (10/9) and Navy (11/3). Also added a tackle for a loss of six yards against Ole Miss. Collected his only career interception against UL-Lafayette (10/16).
1998: Played in all 12 games as a reserve linebacker and member of the special teams. Credited with 10 tackles, nine solos. Had a season-high four tackles, including one for a loss, at Rutgers (10/24).
1997: Redshirted his first season with the Green Wave.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1997 graduate of Riverdale High School in Metairie, La. Earned all-district and all-East Bank honors as a senior. Played defensive end and running back at Riverdale. Rushed for 884 yards and 12 touchdowns on 90 carries. Also threw a 65-yard halfback pass for a touchdown. Coached by Guy Mitchell. Earned four letters in track and one in basketball.
