High School: One-year letterman at Walt Whitman High where he saw time at wide receiver and safety for coach Jim Kuhn...helped lead the Vikings to an 8-3 overall record, a 6-1 mark in Montgomery County 4A-West play and a trip to the state playoffs...named team captain as a senior...also lettered once in basketball, where he helped the Vikings go 14-8, and track and field, where he was a regional qualifier in the 55-meter dash...off the field, was a three-year member of the Honor Roll.

Personal: Born Joseph Samuel Dobbs on Feb. 12, 1992, in Helsinki, Finland...son of Michael and Lisa Dobbs...has two sisters, Alex and Olivia...majoring in finance.
