Career Notes: Four-year varsity letterman - three at LSU, one at Tulane - had 21 tackles (9 solo, 12 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and a pair of pass break-ups during his career... played in 35 career games with 12 starts...following the 2013 season, signed a free-agent deal with the Washington Redskins.

Prior To Tulane: Three-year letterman at LSU for coach Les Miles where he helped lead the Tigers to a combined 44-6 record and earn bowl bids each season, including a 13-1 mark, and SEC championship and a spot in the BCS National Championship game as a sophomore in 2011...after redshirting as a true freshman in 2009, played in 23 games over the next three seasons...as a junior, played in 11 games mostly as a member of the PAT/field goal unit...saw action in 10 contests as a sophomore in 2011, including six at left tackle where he posted three knock-down blocks in 30 snaps...played in two games on the defensive line as a redshirt-freshman in 2010, posting an assisted tackle vs McNeese State (10/16/10).
High School: Three-year letterman at Mansfield High for coach Donald Mayweather...rated a five-star recruit by ESPN.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com...tabbed the No. 4 defensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com while claiming the No. 7 spot from ESPN.com and Scout.com...ranked 25th overall prospect nationally by Rivals.com, the No. 43 recruit by Scout.com and No. 56 by ESPN.com...listed as No. 2 and No. 5 prospect in the state by Rivals.com and Scout.com, respectively...slated as No. 8 overall prospect and No. 2 defensive tackle in the Mobile Press-Register Super Southeast 120, named to Times-Picayune Blue Chip List, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Super Southern 100 and the Baton Rouge Advocate Super Dozen...as a senior, played in just four gamed due to injury but finished with 45 tackles and nine sacks while earning a spot on the USA Today All-USA Football second team and Super Prep All-America squad...also claimed honorable-mention all-state and first-team all-district recognition...as a junior, named first-team all-state and all-district recognition after posting 120 tackles, 18 sacks among 20 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries...totaled 43 tackles, seven sacks and three forced fumbles as a sophomore.
