2014: Played in 12 games as a junior…saw most of his time on special teams…recorded six tackles (5 solo, 1 assist)…tallied a career-high three solo stops at Tulsa (8/28)…posted two solo tackles at East Carolina (11/22)……off the field, was named to Tulane’s 3.0 Club.
2013: Saw action in 11 games as a sophomore…the bulk of his action came as a special teams where he paced the squad with six combined tackles (3 solo, 3 assists) on kickoff and punt coverage…posted a career-high two tackles (both solo) vs Tulsa (10/26)…added single-tackle efforts at Louisiana Tech (9/12), at ULM (9/28) and at FAU (11/2)…off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Tulane’s 3.0 Club.
2012: Played in all 12 games as a true freshman...played primarily on special teams, finishing second on the team in kickoff returns (9) and kick return yards (183) while posting six tackles...posted a career-high three kick returns for 59 yards vs Rice (11/3)...had a career-long 30-yard return at Memphis (11/10)...posted solo tackles vs Rutgers (9/1), at Tulsa (9/8), vs Ole Miss (9/22), vs ULM (9/29) and vs Rice (11/3), and an assisted stop at UTEP (10/20)...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, Tulane's 3.0 Club and the Dean's List, while claiming C-USA Academic Medal honors for posting a 3.694 GPA.
High School: Four-year letterman at C.E. Byrd High as a quarterback, running back and safety for coach Mike Suggs...finished prep career No. 3 in Byrd history in scoring and seventh in rushing yards...helped lead the Yellowjackets toa 12-1 overall record and a state semifinalist showing in 2011...as a senior, named Metro Player of the Year by the Shreveport Times and claimed District MVP honors after completing 42-of-72 passes for 802 yards and 10 touchdowns whiel rushing 150 times for 1,316 yards and 26 scores...ran for a career-high 177 yards and a touchdown in opening-round playoff win over West Jeff in 2011...also earned four letters in baseball where he helped the Yellowjackets to four consecutive playoff appearances - including a pair of state semifinalist finishes - and was selected to play in the Perfect Game All-America contest...off the field, was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and Principal's Honor Roll while serving as president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, vice president of the Key Club and Senior Class President.
