High School: Two-year letterman at Seven Lakes High where he played defensive end and outside linebacker for coach Kevin O'Keefe...named a two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com, and a one-star player by ESPN.com...rated the No. 136 defensive tackle by Scout.com while receiving a scout grade of 67 and ranking as the No. 228 defensive end in the nation by ESPN.com...as a senior, named second-team All-District 19-5A after tallying 72 tackles, eight sacks, three forced fumbles and 15 tackles for loss...as a junior, posted 29 tackles, three sacks and a safety in limited action...also lettered twice in track and field in the discus where he was district champ and advanced to the regionals in 2009.
