2011: Walk-on did not play as a true freshman...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commsioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club while earning C-USA Academic Medal honors courtesy of a 4.0 GPA.

High School: Two-year letterman at St. Thomas More High for coach Jim Hightower...helped lead the Cougars to a combined 20-5 record, consecutive District 4-5A titles, and two trips to the state playoffs - including a 13-1 season as a junior when STMHS advanced to the semifinals...as a senior, named first-team all-district and honorable-mention all-state after posting 166 tackles...tallied a career-best 26 stops vs Acadiana in 2010...named second-team all-district as a junior...also lettered in track and field...off the field, was a Utopian Graduate, a member of Campus Ministries and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
