Career Notes: Two-year letterman has run three times for 30 yards (10.0 avg) with one catch for six yards on offense while returning 23 punts for 94 yards (4.1 avg.) and 14 kickoffs for 272 yards (19.4 avg.) to go with five solo tackles on special teams for his career...played in 18 games...enters fall practice No. 2 on the depth chart at punt returner while adding depth to the receiving corps.
2013: Saw action in 11 games as a junior...led the team in kick returns (14) kick return yards (272), punt returns (23) and punt return yards (94) while ranking fifth in all-purpose yards (396) to go with three rushing attempts for 30 yards and a solo tackle...finished ninth in C-USA in punt return average 94.1) and kick return average (19.4), numbers that ranked 55th and 94th in the NCAA, respectively...tallied career highs with 67 all-purpose yards, three kickoff returns and 64 kick returns yards - including a career-long 35-yard return - to go with a three-yard punt return vs South Alabama (9/7)...had a career-best four punt returns for nine yards vs East Carolina (10/12) and three returns for 26 yards - including a career-long of 15 - vs UTEP (11/23) and for 10 yards vs Louisiana-Lafayette in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl (12/21)...ran once for 20 yards vs Jackson State (8/29) and added a 12-yard sprint vs East Carolina.
2012: Played in seven games as a sophomore...caught first career pass with a six-yard reception at Memphis (11/10)...also a key member of the special teams where he posted four solo tackles, including a career-best two stops vs East Carolina (11/17).
2011: Did not play as a true freshman...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
High School: Three-year letterman at Catholic High where he played running back, wide receiver, return specialist and defensive back for coach Keith Menard...rated a two-star recruit by Rivals.com, Scout.com and ESPN.com...named No. 245 wide receiver in the nation by Scout.com while receiving a scout grade of 72 and rated the No. 196 wide receiver nationally by ESPN.com...named first-team All-District 6-3A and Best of Teche as a sophomore and junior...did not play as a senior after suffering a preseason knee injury...as a junior, caught 70 passes for 1,426 yards (20.4 avg.) and 17 touchdowns and ran for another 364 yards and four scores en route to earning first-team all-state and All-Acadiana honors...also claimed the First-Team All-State Coaches Award and the Press Box Award as a junior...also lettered once in baseball...an excellent gymnast as well, won the LHSAA Boy's All-Around Championships in 2003 and 2005 and won the all-around gold at the 2005 AAU Junior Olympics.
