TULANE: Begins his first playing season... enters the fall as the backup at left defensive end. FRESHMAN (2008): Did not play; received a red-shirt season. HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterman at Moorpark High where he saw time at tight end and defensive end for coach Tim Lins... helped the Musketeers to a combined 27-12 record, a trip to the California State playoffs all three years and a berth in the CIF-Southern Section Championship game as a sophomore and junior... as a senior, claimed All-San Fernando Valley/North Region Team, all-county, and All-Marmonte League honors and claimed Marmonte League's Lineman of the Year honors after posting 78 tackles, including 20 for loss and eight sacks...as a tight end, caught 25 passes for 242 yards and three touchdowns.
