TULANE: A returning letterwinner who played his first season as a running back but made the switch to linebacker during spring drills... enters the fall as a backup at strong-side linebacker.

2008 (FRESHMAN): Started three of nine games played... ranked fourth on the team in all-purpose yards with 494 (292-r/116-rcv/86-kor)... rushed for 292 yards on 93 carries (3.1 ypc) and scored two touchdowns... caught 15 passes for 116 yards (7.7 ypc)... returned four kickoffs for 86 yards with a long of 25 yards... carried the ball six times for a career-best 61 yards at UTEP... recorded a career-high 22 totes for 39 yards and a pair of touchdowns at Houston... caught a career-high five passes for 73 yards vs. Rice.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterman at Barbe High where he saw time at running back, wide receiver and linebacker for coach Jimmy Shaver... helped the Buccaneers advance to the state playoff three years, including a pair of semifinal games... earned first-team all-district honors as a senior after rushing for 641 yards and five touchdowns on 101 carries (6.3 ypc)... as a junior, ran for 837 yards and eight touchdowns on 124 carries (6.8 ypc) and caught 11 passes for 130 yards and 11 touchdowns... also lettered in track and field.
