Career Note: Three-year letterman has 51 tackles (22 solo, 29 assists), two and a half tackles for loss and a sack for his career...has played in 33 career games with 15 starts...is penciled in as the starter at right defensive tackle heading into preseason practice. 2010: Saw action in all 12 games as a junior, including nine starts...finished tied for fifth in sacks (1.0), tied for seventh in tackles for loss (2.5), tied for eighth in pass break-ups (1) and 12th with 20 tackles (7 solo, 13 assists)...had a career-best five stops (3 solo, 2 assists vs Army (10/9)recorded first career tackle for loss with a sack among two stops (1 solo, 1 assist) against Southeastern Louisiana (9/2)...also posted three-tackle performances at UTEP (10/23), which included a half tackle for loss, and at Marshall (11/27). 2009: Played in all 12 games as a sophomore, including six starts...finished tied for 18th overall and tied for fourth among defensive linemen in tackles with 17 (8 solo, 9 assists)...tied a season-high with three tackles vs Tulsa (9/4), against McNeese State (9/26), at Southern Miss (10/24) and at UCF (11/21)...also tallied a two-tackle day at Army (10/3). 2008: Saw action in nine games as a true freshman, including five starts...finished tied for 19th overall and tied for sixth among defensive linemen with 14 tackles (7 solo, 7 assists)...recorded a career-high three tackles vs Army (10/4) and tied the mark at Houston (11/8)...also posted two-tackle outings vs East Carolina (9/12), at LSU (11/1) and vs UAB (11/15)...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.
