New head coach Curtis Johnson pleased with his team's progress after three sessions
2011: Did not play as a walk-on, true freshman...off the field, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club and claimed, and claimed C-USA Academic Medal honors for posting a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
High School: Two-year letterman at Catholic High for coach Peter Gorgnski...helped lead the Rams to a combined 16-8 record and a pair of playoff appearances...for his career, posted 160 tackles and nine interceptions while scoring eight touchdowns...as a senior, earned Bronx/Manhattan Player of the Year, first-team All-New York City, all-metro and all-conference, and second-team all-state recognition after posting four interceptions defensively, recording 559 all-purpose yards and leading the CHSFL in total punt yardage...tabbed MVP of the 2010 Turkey Bowl after punting five times for a 41.0-yard average, returning one punt for a touchdown and tallying a game-clinching interception vs Xavier...off the field, was a member of the honor roll.
