Men's Basketball Wins Fifth Straight in Devlin
Tulane's men's basketball team scored the first seven points of the game and visiting Loyola never got close as the Green Wave defeated the Wolfpack, 69-57, on Tuesday night for the fifth straight win at Devlin Fieldhouse.
Conroy's Green Wave team consists of three seniors (Max Keenan, Kevin Thomas and Tomas Bruha), two juniors (Jay Hook and Tre Drye), two sophomores (Louis Dabney and Kajon Mack) and eight freshmen (Jonathan Stark, Mikael Herbert, Cameron Reynolds, Cole Currie, Josh Hearlihy, Ryan Smith, Payton Henson and Ray Barreno).
Tulane has been practicing since Sept. 27 under the new NCAA rule that allows schools to move the first practice date up two weeks this year. The rule still gives teams the same amount of practice days, but stretches it out over a longer period of time.
Season tickets for the 2013-14 Tulane men's basketball season will cost $250 for reserved courtside, $125 for adult baseline, $50 for youth baseline and $300 for the "Family 4 Pack" which includes two adult and two youth tickets. For additional information, contact the Tulane Team Shop ticket office in person on the first floor of the James W. Wilson, Jr. Center Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information is also available over the phone at 504-861-WAVE (9283) or via the Internet at www.TulaneGreenWave.com.
