New Orleans - Tulane head men's basketball coach Dave Dickerson will be a guest on this week's "Tulane Chat" this Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 1-2 p.m. on NOLA.com. Dickerson will answer fan questions and preview the Green Wave's 2008-09 season.

The fourth-year coach has led Tulane to back-to-back winning seasons and has chalked up 46 victories since taking over the program in 2005-06. However over the last two seasons, Dickerson and the Green Wave won a combined total of 34 games, including a two-year total of 21 victories on its home floor.

Tulane returns seven letterwinners, including three starters in seniors Robinson Louisme and Daniel Puckett and junior Kevin Sims, and features two redshirt players and two true freshmen.

The Wave opens the season at Fogelman Arena against McNeese State on Thurs., Nov. 6 at 7 p.m.

The 2007-08 season highlights included a 10-4 non-conference record with a 3-0 mark against Southeastern Conference teams, including wins over SEC Tournament Champion Georgia, Auburn and LSU, 10 victories inside the city of New Orleans, including an impressive victory over in-state rival LSU, and TU improved to 3-0 under Dickerson in Conference USA Tournament opening round games with its victory over Marshall in the first round of the 2008 C-USA Tourney.
