NEW ORLEANS, La. - Season tickets for the 2007-08 Tulane University men's basketball team's home schedule are now on sale at the Tulane University Athletics ticket office, Tulane Director of Ticket Sales Marie Parenti announced Thursday.
The 2007-08 season marks the 75th anniversary of Fogelman Arena and the Green Wave are poised to celebrate the season with strong home competition. Season ticket packages include all 17 home games, including an exhibition against next-door neighbor Loyola (N.O.), and a game played at the New Orleans Arena against arch rival LSU.
Adult sideline season tickets are available for $250, adult end court season tickets are available for $125, and youth end court season tickets are available at $100. In addition, Family Pack end court tickets, which includes two adult and two youth tickets are available for $300 for the season.
Season tickets for the 2007-08 Green Wave men's basketball campaign are sold exclusively by the Tulane Athletics ticket office and can be purchased now in person, online at www.TulaneGreenWave.com or by phone at (504) 861-WAVE.
Season-ticket renewals have also been mailed out to all season ticket holders from the 2006-07 season and will be arriving in mailboxes shortly. The deadline for season ticket renewals to be completed and mailed back to the ticket office is Friday, Oct. 19. Season ticket holders will receive first priority in purchasing extra tickets to any home games.
Highlighting the Wave's home schedule are games against Auburn on Nov. 9 to open the season, and Conference USA foes Memphis (Feb. 20), UAB (Jan. 9), Houston (Feb. 9) and Southern Miss (Feb. 23). The Green Wave also play a game against LSU at the New Orleans Arena on Jan. 2 as part of a double header with the women's basketball team. The women play Nicholls St. at 4:30 p.m. and the men play LSU at 7 p.m.
Fans can get their first glimpse of both the men's and women's teams this Friday, Oct. 12, at the Basketball Madness event, held from 7-9 p.m. at Fogelman Arena, where one lucky fan will have the opportunity to shoot for $10,000.
